Saad Specialist Hospital (SSH) is a modern, tertiary care medical facility located in Al-Khobar in the Eastern Province pf the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Two components occupy the facility campus: Saad Specialist Hospital (SSH), Saad Specialist Hospital Clinic. Together, they form a major regional resource for the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia and the greater Arabian Gulf Region.

SSH is designed according to the highest international standards and conforms with quality principles as established by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organisations (JCAHO), through its international extension, the Joint International Accreditation (JIA). Medical staffing in key positions requires Western qualifications, and both equipment and systems are completely integrated and automated, incorporating the latest in technology and healthcare delivery processes.

THE FACILITY

Saad Specialist Hospital (SSH) is housed in a modern 600-bed healthcare facility located in Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The wide array of personnel, services and facilities presently available are representative of a fully operational general hospital. Additional in-patient beds for specialized tertiary services including cardiology, stroke rehabilitation, advanced maternal/child care, and hemodialysis are also available.

As SSH continues to grow and provide additional new services, inpatient areas are continually expanded, revised and upgraded. Located on an 80,000 sq metre campus, SSH enjoys remarkable opportunities for future development, and currently is the centrepiece of a private development project which began with the opening of the Saad Al-Sanea Centre for Communication Disorders in 1992, followed by the Saad Medical Centre in 1994, and has consistently provided outpatient diagnostic and treatment services in more than 40 specialities.

Today Saad Medical Centre has been integrated into SSH as the Outpatient Services Department, and along with additional outpatient facilities planned in other locales, represents the primary source of inpatient admissions.

Al Khobar is well located only a 40 minute drive from the relaxed country of Bahrain which is a popular weekend retreat for shopping and socialising for locals and staff members alike.  This alone makes SAAD & Al Khobar a location of choice for workers seeking contracts in Saudi Arabia
